orangeshow, that strongly depends on the type of strike.
I am a martial artist myself and even when a lady only has half the power of the man, there are plenty of regions which are not easy guard and where very little striking force is necessary.
This, of course, only works when the man isn't doing martial arts in the sense of keeping distance and wearing the woman down.
Since a real fight does not take place in a ring, speed and will (=brutality) are more important than weight and power.
Besides, my then 2.5 year old daughter once knocked me down with a well-placed kick to a central spot.

Only in movies? Seriously?
This study claims, that physical violence (like hitting and scratching) is quite effective. [Take this with a grain of salt, though the study group was large (n=500) fortunately only a few participants were victimized in the 6-month follow-up period]

Only in Hollywood movies does a woman beat up a man. In reality when a woman hits a man, it just makes him madder.
