Not the most eloquent thought, but after I read your post, saw the way 'Titanic' is displayed in the upper left of the cover and then saw who they were asking about, I reflexively said, "Oh, shit!"

When I read about the police report this morning I also had to lough out loud.

But while reading your article with the quite lengthy introduction, I imagined an anglophone reader just thinking "Oh no, what a heck of difficult explanation for a single joke. Now he's gone, now Andrew has been germanized indefinitely"
