First, apologies for the relatively light blogging. I'm in Beirut, a city so exciting that you want to go out and experience it rather than sit around and type words. Back to more consistent blogging on Monday(ish).
In the meantime, here's a useful update from the Angry Arab about website banning in Turkey. Apparently Turkey's web censors tend to ban entire domains when one site on them is found to have violated some law, which might explain why this blog is banned there. Here is the relevant entry:

Tanju explains: "Your blog is not banned in Turkey, but it is not accessible. Due to a copyright infringement lawsuit against one of the blogspot users, a court has banned access to the IP addresses belonging to blogspot.com. As a result, all the blogs, including yours, became collateral damage. This stems from a poorly worded and implemented law regarding internet publications." I am told that you can still access Angryarab.net
I spent a wonderful 2 days tour in Gallipoli Troy by TTG Travel. Everything was well organized. It was really worth the visit since we visited almost all historical places.
