Not much time for original 'content' today since I'm fighting two deadlines. I've tried to turn them against each other, but no luck.
On the other hand, I did take some time out to watch a few Bjoerk videos yesterday with a friend, and we both agreed they were all pretty brilliant.

One of my favorites is All is full of love where we see two robots (both with Björk's face) making love. I like especially the second half when the camera drives back and we clearly see the humanoid robots manipulated by other, more technoid robots that play like puppeteers with them. And then the camera drives further back and we see that everything is part of huge strange machinery – a quite disturbing picture...
...and you ask yourself who's behind that powerful force that manipulates us so easily, so inescapably (Our genes? Aphrodite? Stefan Raab?)

Ah yes, the inimitable Michel Gondry...

Please, it's Björk, not Bjork. I wondered why umlaut expert Andrew wrote Bjoerk - the reasoning behind it might be that Bjoerk is a good compromise: it will be pronounced correctly by both umlaut experts and novices.
And I thought Andrew's posting about Björk was statement enough.
Lena is very likeable and has many different faces (one of them a bit like Björk), but she seems to be heading towards TV entertainment, not towards a real musician's career (as Björk, or ABBA).

Hey Andrew, whats up to you?
You are interested in Music and in especially in Bjork, you feel engaged (among other) as translater of phenomena of german culture and society to americans and you still did not even mention our new pop phenomenon Lena and the European Song Contest?
I am really interested to get your point of view about it.
:-)
