Military Advertisements: A Global Comparison

Cohu delivers the goods here. Personally, the Ukrainian spot is my favorite because it has hot Ukrainian buznitchniki in it. I also couldn't help noticing that in both the Austrian and the Ukrainian ads, the soldiers conspicuously stroke the long, hard, hot barrel of the tank just before they jump down to the ground and approach the ladies. Insert joke about 'loads' here.

Yes, that one's much more blood-and-guts, and far too corny for European tastes.

The key difference between the American and foreign advertisements, it seems to me, is that the U.S. ones portray serving in the military as a desirable end in itself, whereas most of the foreign ads portray it as a way to impress chicks or wear cool uniforms.

I spared my readers this one, though...kind of hard to stomach for our thoroughly de-militarized people!
