Graffiti on the side of the slowly-decaying WestLB Bank building in Duesseldorf, which is set to be torn down in 2010 (g):
And here, a T-shirt worn by a dainty redhead. The front side reads: "I get enough sex..." and the back side (apologies for blurry cellphone photo) "...because life f**ks me every day." Typisch Deutsch!
You might want to adjust your connotation-metre: "ficken" is highly vulgar in German, too, pretty much the most offensive word for this particular human activity the language has.
Of course, what German doesn't have is the use of the word as general-purpose expletive, resulting in hilariously soft German dubs of insult-heavy American movies ("verdammt" and "Mist" just don't have the same ring to them).

Madde: you also need to remember that "ficken" is a lot less offensive to German-speakers than its close English equivalent is to English-speakers.
You might also want to keep that in mind especially when speaking English in an English-speaking country...

No, Madde, I'm not being etepete, just trying to avoid comment spam. Think about it!

...und die Sternchen in "f**ks" sind typisch amerikanisch?
Wundert mich ja doch, dass ihr gerade bei solchen Sachen immer so etepetete seid.
