So you DID go after all. Did you find a companion or was this a solitary expedition after all?

There ARE certain compensations to living in ye Olde Europe, aren't there? I wonder how many times "Moses und Aaron" makes it to Dallas, or even Austin?

Well it's a specialized taste which might not be shown in New York, London, or even Paris. But in most US cities theatre is a reperetory thing, though opera can be a bit more widespread than that.
