Amazing - if you did that interview with any average guy in the street, they'd probably come up with brighter arguments than "...but John McCain is the MAVERICK!"
It seems to me that Palin is an embarrassment to the GOP on TV (which is likely why they hide her most of the time), but I gather she's quite popular at local rallies. I wonder if that will make much of a difference for the campaign though, since I'd assume that the rallies are primarily visited by die-hard Republicans anyway, while the best way to reach undecided voters should be through continuous & competent = convincing TV presence, neither of which she has till now.
I guess the question is if her TV appearances are more alienating or more appealing to undecided voters?
